Golden Peacock for Moira Chance

This is a very prestigious award for looking very pretty on the fighting field. It is tradition for the person who is receiving this award to show up in court in their dirtiest and least accurate fighting clothes. Moira did not disappoint and her addition to the Order is well-deserved.

Written in September 2024

A battle, some may say, is won or lost

Upon the merits of the ones who fight

With prowess honed no matter what the cost,

These mighty warriors strive for what is right.

Yet some may also know of other ways

A warrior may show off their fearsome skill

With spreading wordfame, giving others praise,

As one can see, the sword can yield to quill.

But greater than this show of prow or voice,

The most important thing a warrior fears,

Is their enemy's sartorial choice,

The one with prettiest armor has no peer.

The swishy cloak of Moira I speak of

Her flawless presence, glorious on the field

Their Majesties make her a Golden Peacock

And pray her shininess may never yield.

For armor should be cleaned now and again

For Moira's clean armor, we loudly say AMEN.
